Bangalore is the most misread QA salary market in India. People assume "India's tech capital" means the highest pay everywhere — and then feel underpaid when their offer looks ordinary. The truth is more interesting: Bangalore is roughly mid-pack on the average, but has the highest ceiling in the country.
